03 October 2011 - Just a couple of words on how this site began. Thanks are due primarily to my late mother, Genevieve Galagan Tweedie, who kept copious notes and data on all parts of our extended families. She became interested in genealogy many years ago maintaining wide range of contacts and recording births, deaths, marriages, and much more. As age and infirmity took its toll, I volunteered to help her in this work not realizing how expansive and time consuming it would become. No complaints, I enjoy it. I have met so many distant and not so distant relatives who have helped enormously. New information and corrections of existing data entries are always most welcome. Thanks to all who have expressed interest and a willingness to help. Progress continues in adding new information in the Tweedie, Chosa(Chausse) and Schoenke families. Documents and photos are also being added. If you have information or wish to make corrections to entries, please Log In and follow the instructions for making changes or additions (click the "Suggestions" tab).
